Clear help requires clear limits.
SteadyPact publishes general educational material for adults who want to change unwanted pornography use or related digital habits. Our guides are not medical diagnosis, therapy, crisis care, or a substitute for a qualified professional.
Language and scope
We do not assume that pornography use, masturbation, sexual desire, or frequency alone is a disorder. We use terms such as “unwanted pornography use,” “problematic pornography use,” and “compulsive sexual behavior” according to context. When discussing diagnosis, we distinguish established classifications from debated or informal labels.
We avoid shame, guaranteed outcomes, universal abstinence rules, exact “brain reset” timelines, and unsupported claims about dopamine, testosterone, energy, attraction, or masculinity.
Source standard
Health claims should be supported by primary research, systematic reviews, official clinical classifications, or established medical institutions. Technical claims should link to platform policies or developer documentation where possible. Pricing and product claims should link to the current vendor or app-store page and include the access or update date.
Early evidence and small studies are described with their limits. A correlation is not presented as proof of cause. A competitor’s marketing claim is not repeated as established fact.
Review and updates
Launch articles are researched and written by the SteadyPact editorial team. They have not yet been clinically reviewed. Before the product provides individualized health guidance, SteadyPact intends to establish review by a qualified sexual-health or mental-health professional. We will name reviewers and credentials only after that review actually occurs.
Every guide displays a publication or update date and a source list. Content should be reviewed when clinical guidance, product behavior, app-store policy, pricing, or cited evidence materially changes.
Commercial separation
Subscription and advertising goals do not change clinical or technical conclusions. Sponsored material and affiliate relationships, if introduced, will be labeled. Advertisers will not receive private habit logs, individual trigger data, or information suggesting a specific person viewed a sensitive guide.
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected promptly, with the updated date changed and a note added when the correction affects the article’s conclusion. Correction requests can be sent to editorial@steadypact.com.
Immediate support
SteadyPact is not monitored as an emergency channel. If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a crisis service in your country now. Do not wait for an email, app, forum, or future AI feature.
